I recently stayed at the Mantra Hotel, and it was simply fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which truly enhanced our experience. The room was so spacious and comfortable that I didn't want to leave. However, the beach was a bit of a trek, and while it's manageable, it's not the easiest walk back after a long day in the sun. All in all, a lovely place to unwind and relax with some minor walkability issues.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The facilities were top-notch, with a beautiful pool area and a luxurious spa that made my stay even more enjoyable. However, the location was a bit of a downside as it was about a 10-minute drive to the downtown area, where all the dining and shopping opportunities are.

The location was great, being close to La Barra with plenty of dining options nearby. However, we found the dining experience to be a bit overpriced and not quite at the level expected for a five-star resort, and service could have been more attentive during our stay.

I stayed at Mantra in Punta del Este, and it has excellent amenities like a spa and pools. However, while it's a nice place, it lacks character and some service aspects fell short, particularly at the front desk and with some facilities. The transfer cost to the beach was surprisingly high too, but the pools, especially the outdoor one, are enjoyable if you can handle the temperature difference.
